Athar: Prayer Times & Qibla

Athar gives you accurate prayer times, a live Qibla compass, and offline travel support, now in 20 languages. Open it and it works. No account, nothing to set up. PRAYER TIMES Fajr, Sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha for any city in the world, or tap once to use your current location. A running countdown shows how long until the next prayer, with the Hijri date sitting right alongside it. QIBLA A live compass turns to face the Kaaba from wherever you're standing, with the exact bearing and distance to Mecca shown underneath. FLIGHT MODE No signal at 35,000 feet? Flight Mode works completely offline. Drop a pin anywhere on the map and Athar works out prayer times for that spot using your phone's clock. A magnetic compass isn't reliable in the air, so instead you get a slider: match it to your seatback flight map's heading, and a diagram shows which way to turn to face Qibla. CALCULATION METHODS Muslim World League, ISNA, Egyptian, Umm al-Qura (Makkah), Karachi, Tehran, Jafari, Kuwait, Qatar, and Singapore are all built in, with Standard or Hanafi Asr timing so you can match whatever your local mosque follows. LOCK SCREEN WIDGETS Add Morning Prayers and Evening Prayers to your Lock Screen to check the day's times without opening the app. 20 LANGUAGES Athar speaks Arabic, Urdu, Indonesian, Bengali, Hindi, Punjabi, Turkish, Persian, Hausa, Pashto, French, Malay, Swahili, Somali, Kurdish, Uzbek, Sindhi, Azerbaijani, Kazakh, and English, chosen to reach the languages most widely spoken by Muslims worldwide. Change it anytime from Settings. NO ADS, EVER Athar has no ads, no popups, and nothing pushing you to upgrade, and it never will. Prayer times, Qibla direction, and everything else you use calculate entirely on your device — no account, nothing to sign up for.

What this page does not show

The teardown — how it actually charges, which mechanism was found, and the seam worth taking — is in the daily letter. This page carries the record and the signals so search engines and link previews have something real to read; the judgement stays with the readers who asked for it.
